Was able to get a good 45 miles ride in on Sun, but it was cold. Looks like the weather will continue to cooperate for at least another week. My bike responds well to the cool weather. I hope to hit my goal of 6000 miles by the end of this week. Just another 65 to go.

I will be getting my LR detailed by a friend on Sat who used to manage an auto spa. A real detailing wizard.

Meh, mine's been at the dealer since last Thursday for electrical/ignition issues...should be covered under warranty. This is the third time in less than six months having issues and at the dealer for repairs.

I really like the LR and I hope it all gets sorted out.

The weather has been awesome, glad I have my Honda to ride.

What has been happening with your electrical system? What was the problem with the electrical the first two times it went in?

Sorry to hear that it has been in the shop three times in only six months. Where are you at mileage wise?

I am almost at 6000 miles and my LR, thankfully, has not had any issues so far.

I'm at 8000 miles, I've had the bike for 15 months. The dealer said it's ready...all they did was put in a battery under warranty and call it a day. Something's not right with the charging system IMO, but I'm no mechanic.

I hope it doesn't leave me stranded out in the boondocks...

Oh well, at least I got in a nice 110 mile ride this morning on my Honda.

Let us know how it does with the new battery. Hopefully, a new battery is all that it was. However, 15 months is early for a battery to crap out.

Picked up the bike, the service writer/supervisor confirmed they put in a new battery...he had the bike out in the front, engine running and handed me the key and fob. I thought it a bit strange there was no copy of the paperwork and no signature required by me...just handed me the key/fob and said it's good to go.

Turned it off when getting home to open the garage and the bike started fine w/no drama...I dunno, maybe it really is fixed with a new battery.
