What does FXDLS stand for? FXDL is the Low Rider. What's the 'S?'

I have been riding for 35 years (1979 to present). Have owned 8 street bikes from 1982 to present (3 Hondas, 2 Kawasakis, 2 Suzukis, and 1 Yamaha). Looking to transition from sport bikes to a cruiser. Have never owned a cruiser to date.

I went to a Demo Day event on Sat and rode three bikes. Was very impressed with the Low Rider. I like its looks and styling and that it has:

1. Dual front disk brakes
2. Tach
3. 103 CI motor
4. 6 speed transmission
5. Adjustable handlebars
6. Relatively low weight for a cruiser
7. Mid mount pegs instead of forward controls and floorboards
Definitely get a Harley with dual front disc brakes !!!

I made a mistake with my SB purchase i didn't realise it only had 1 disc brake

Sorry to hear about that. It is much easier to start with the LR and dual front disc brakes than convert another model to dual front disc brakes. Handle bars, foot controls, and seats are much easier to swap out.

Yea, I bought some 13" Hagon 2810s and was starting to stock up on a bunch of other performance parts for a build, but my father-in-law just had a stroke and medical related costs are forcing me to put that on hold for now. This FXDL I just bought came with 13.5" Works in the rear and Racetech springs and emulators up front. I'm selling it all to make money. It hurts. haha

A couple new pics of my '15. Just a few changes. 8700 miles, and just did tires and rear brakes. Front pads look good, I'm a rear brake guy.

Swapped the Scortchers for Dunlops. Need a rear, and swapped the front to have matching shoes. K591 on the back and a D401 on the front. I hated the Scortchers in the rain. Zero confidence.

Swapped out the Thunder Header Slip-on for a Basanni RoadRage
New custom shaped C&C SportTour seat.

its like the softail slim "S" and the fat boy "S" just a "Linited Ediditon" run...probably nothing different except paint and blackness of motor...

Sorry to hear about your situation but at least you are selling for a good reason. Hopefully you will be able to get back on a LR down the road.
