Finally hit 4000 miles today. Will be riding to work the whole week.

Will soon need to get the 5000 mile service done.

I only need 120 miles to hit my 5000 mile service and then it will be time to park it for the winter. They are calling for about 28F tonight.

I anticipate being over 5000 miles by the time I park it. I have a bit more riding time. I have never ridden any of my previous bikes as much as I am riding my Low Rider.

Same here, I have never racked up this many miles in such a short time on a bike.

Got the horn bracket and new horn replaced today under warranty...but had to get a new rear tire, it was leaking and was down to 25psi this morning. It had 6920 miles on it and I was hoping to get to 8K before replacing...oh well.

I went with the same OEM tire to match the front. The dealer had a "special" if you purchase the tire from them Tues. thru Thurs. the install is free.

The bike is at 6950 miles and is running great.

When someone gets time can you snap a picture of your front engine mount. I may have found the source of my high speed vibration and wobble. The rubber has popped out of my front mount on both sides and it looks like it should be tucked in. Here is a pic I just took. It isn't great as it is splattered with mud from my last ride home in light rain.

I accidentally put my hand on the ignition **** while looking at the other side of the bike and the bike stayed on. The ignition will only stay on if you press the **** and hold it, as soon as you let go it dies. Searched up info thought it was the recall stuff but no its been done. Dealer said it could be the collar that holds the ignition and the black plastic in place, nope it was tight and lock tightened. After removing the ignition assembly which is integral to itself, its squishy, on both sides. Long story short its the assy itself. Taking bike in tomorrow because its a keyed item and the saying a week and half just to get a new one.... FML and MoCo.

hopefully yours is fixed the first time. im going in for my 3rd ignition switch tomorrow.... if this one goes as well I'm going to try and lemon law the bike. I love my low rider but I fear riding anywhere far from home

I have a couple of follow up comments to my previous posts. First with the ignition switch, I was at the dealers today and found the recall was done by the dealer I bought the bike from already. They had a look at my switch and the ran it into their shop. Five minutes later it was back out nice and tight. Apparently there is a set screw inside that holds it in the housing that came loose. Also while I was there I looked at some new dynas on the floor and the front engine mount looks the same as mine.

Did you pick a nail or something up? Very fortunate for you that all this happened on Free Install Day.

Never did find where the leak was coming from...but the pressure went from 40psi to 25psi within a day and a half of sitting. I didn't want to take a chance and get stranded out in the boondocks.
