I noticed my ignition switch is loose on mine. I couldn't see how to tighten it up and I haven't bought a shop manual yet. I have been wondering if it can be tightened up or if it will need replacement.

Bike died on me on the freeway, coasted over safely and stopped in the shoulder. Turning bike on and off and it intermittently would shut off, then other times it would stay running until you applied any throttle and it would die as if it was off. I accidentally put my hand on the ignition **** while looking at the other side of the bike and the bike stayed on. The ignition will only stay on if you press the **** and hold it, as soon as you let go it dies. Searched up info thought it was the recall stuff but no its been done. Dealer said it could be the collar that holds the ignition and the black plastic in place, nope it was tight and lock tightened. After removing the ignition assembly which is integral to itself, its squishy, on both sides. Long story short its the assy itself. Taking bike in tomorrow because its a keyed item and the saying a week and half just to get a new one.... FML and MoCo.
I have 4000 miles on my LR and have had no issues.

have 13k on mine, no problems, however I always thought the ignition switch should be mounted on the frame, where not subject to so much shaking and vibration.

Agreed. What would be even better is to mount the speedo and tach to handle bars so they are in front you instead of having to look down. By doing this, you could mount the ignition on the tank like many other models have done.

Some poor iPhone pics of the new solo set up.......Mustang Vintage solo, removed passenger pegs and mounts, used the front belt guard hardware from the Street Bob.

Looks real good. How much more comfortable is the new seat over the stock seat?

Mustangs have to break in as I have run them on past bikes. Right now I'd just say they are different. The Mustang did place me a bit further back (I was not running the "booster pad") and up. I had the adjust the bars a touch.

Compared to the seats I have had on my sport bikes from 1991-2015, the stock LR seat is the most comfortable seat I have ever had.
