Thanks for the heads-up on that. Luckily, I have a manual hand impact driver and torx bits in the 'ol box of tools.

Was finally able to get out and ride. Went to get something to eat at an old restaurant I use to frequent back in the day. Was able to put about 100 miles on today. Just a tad below 3600 miles. Will be able to ride to work all this upcoming week.

Just a heads up to low rider owners...keep an eye on the horn bracket for any signs of failure. I was surprised the bracket broke as it's a thick metal piece holding the horn.

On the way home from a nice ride this morning I heard a loud clank from the front end when crossing over railroad tracks, I thought something had come loose. It was the horn and broken bracket hanging by the two wires from the horn hitting the top of the regulator.

I'm sure it's covered under warranty so back to the Dealer this Tuesday for a replacement part.

SBRob, I never heard of that ever happening before. Must have been a badly welded horn attachment bracket. Can't wait to hear what the Dealer says. Thanks for posting.

Any new LR owners out there? Anyone in the market to get a LR before year's end? Anyone on the fence over 2015 LR vs. 2016 LR?

At 4196 miles, I had battery go dead; would not charge. I had been out of town for a couple of months and it sat. However it was on a charger but still died. It was replaced at no cost from the dealer.

I will be at 4000 miles by the end of this week. 4000 miles in 5 months is a record for me. I love riding to work and will be riding into Nov. At this rate, a 2017 LR may be in order.

Anyone demo a 2016 LR yet?

Looking forward to seeing those mods.

I'm hoping to make it to Biketoberfest in Daytona. Its 15-18 October this year. I'll try to get there for at least one or two days. Plan to Demo ride the Harleys at that time.

Default Patial Stage 1?

Hello All,

I have a '15 FXDL completely stock for now. Thinking of installing a PV-2, Pro Billet Air Cleaner FM117-442 but leaving the exhaust stock.
I don't want to get into the expense of changing out the whole exhaust system at least for now. Will probably still be dealing with heat from CAT but thinking the engine should run cooler since it won't be running so lean.
What improvements can I expect with regards to performance and driveability?

Many thanks,

Matt
