Looking real nice. Anyone looking for ideas on what to do with their LR need look no further than this thread as there are many dozens of nicely customized LRs.

A Harley 1/4 fairing with bung king 49mm brackets fits fine with the stock FXDL headlight brow mount.
The TSPORT fairing does not work with the brow mount easily, can be done but easier with a raised bottom mount light.

Picked up my LR last Thurs after 10K service with Syn3 and new stock spark plugs. Also changed trans to Syn3. (Actually at 14800 miles, delayed 10K service by 1 oil change)
Went for a NICE ride along central WI country roads last week-end, 250 miles, riding 2up with windshield, got a tick under 50MPG (49.8)!!
Works for me!
Previous mods: K&N Intake System, V&H Fuel Pak3 (generic 2 into 1 map then auto tune) , Screamin Eddie Exhaust Mod (center plug punched, rear plate drilled 8X and packing removed).

The Harley 1/4 fairing with Bungking brackets and Harley QD mounts fits OK and nothing needs doing to the brow. The headlight could be a fraction higher but it works. You could of course switch to a bottom mount such as DK Customs if you wanted it to fit perfectly, you would need to remove the brow.

Meant to attach a pic of my fairing showing the headlight is slightly too high. This is the best I could get it to fit, however replacing the chrome ring which I have now done makes it look better.

NealE, how is your bike running? I remember a few weeks back you had some rain/water related issues while on a trip. Everything okay?

Hi Ike,
Following the warranty work done whilst in Ireland I have had no further throttle related issues, however the rusted muffler bolts and disintegrating muffler (entire interior has come apart) are still to be resolved. It runs OK, sounds better and on 10th August will benefit from a Power Vision Tuner, Screamin' Eagle Heavy Breather and a V&H 2-1 Slip-on. I like the look of the current pipes and the slip-on keeps the look (almost) that I like. The mods should be noticeable even without a full exhaust.

Glad to hear that there were no further issues with your bike, NealE. You got some nice mods planned.

Great ride to work today. Cool in the morning and around 82 on the return ride back home. Almost 2100 miles. I cannot get enough of riding my LR. I think I'll ride Sat morning and get some breakfast south of where I live.
