Shawn and I got home from our little trip tonight. For a simple two day trip we packed in quite a bit. He really enjoyed the museum by the air base in Cold Lake. We ran into another guy with a Low Rider today and he just loves his as well. I just finished working out my mileage for the trip. We drove a total of 715 miles which includes what we drove around in town exploring. My gas receipts total 17.4 USG (66 litres). That puts me at 41 mpg for the trip. We spent most of the time driving at 75 mph. Once in a while it got somewhat higher. Oh and I scraped my pegs for the first time today on the left side going around a traffic circle on the highway a little too fast. It didn't feel like it was leaned over any more than I usually lean it so I must have been on the verge of scraping all along.

Maybe try adjusting the shocks that are on it, that is all I do with my wife on the back.

That is a nice ride. A lot of miles in two days. I have yet to scrape anything.

Sorry to hear about that. If you ride two up, I would suggest something from Progressive. I ride solo. I never cared for giving anyone a ride.

I run my bike with the rear preload at number three by myself. I weigh roughly 190 give or take.
