Who has a cover for their bike and, if so, what brand of cover did you get?

So my 2014 fxdl comes home today, New S&S intake, lsr 2-1 exhaust, super tuner and superbrace...but they said speedo and tach are bad, lights going on and off, its under warranty, any one else have gauge issues?
Happened to me twice on Tuesday night, lights in speedo and tach went out, little tap brought them back on, but I have had the tank off a while ago.

Taken the screen off again, prefer the ride without it.

For outdoor use?

At home I have tried various types and all have condensation problems, even vented ones. Gave up in the end and when I got a garage and now just drop a dust cover over the bike during the winter.

If out and parked up, even in the office car park I leave it exposed. Much easier to leave as is, no fiddling around putting the cover on and saves scratching the paint which if black is prone to mark easily.

For both outdoor and indoor. I have always kept my bikes garaged over the years but when I ride one to work, I have always kept a cover at work so I can cover the bike. I do it to protect the bike from the elements and to keep people away from the bike. My experience has been that an uncovered bike will attract lookers and sometimes a person who will sit on your bike.

I have always covered the bike during winter storage.

I have not had the condensation issues you have encountered.

last cover I used was a zip up one, so the bike was zipped inside it and condensation probably caused in cooler weather having put a hot bike away; my Aprilia RSV1000R was really bad for getting damp in there.

Just be wary of the paint on the LR; my Vivid Black one picks up marks very easily as I found out when I had the Harley luggage system fitted last year and the nylon straps which I padded with a microfiber cloth caused some marks.

Lol OK I'll chime in here........I bought two covers at the same time about 5 years ago. The dealer didn't have two so I grabbed the indoor outdoor one he did have. Cost me 80bucks. Then ran too Walmart and grabbed whatever no name crap they had for like 35 bucks. The expensive one lasted 3 months in the sun. The cheapo wally world cover is still going strong. It has been out in the weather so long its not water tight anymore so it just is a dust cover in the garage now.
