Still takin the SG. Not diggin that WG rear fender. Or the tank for that matter.

 

Dude, the tank is the best part...it gets the speedo out of the handlebars and you have to love the fact that the switch is a beautifull chrome piece right there in front of you vs. having to try and find it somewhere in the frame below you. The fender is awesome; IMO, the SG fender looks like a dog with its tail tucked in. The WG fender looks like it's crusing and the wind gives it the wavey shape. Then again, it's all a matter of opinion.

 

I've owned both , enjoyed both , but find the Wide Glide to be a more enjoyable ride.

 

I love the wide glide! I really like the bob tail fender as well. I put HD dyna hard saddle bags on it and was worried that it wouldn't work well with the bob tail, but I think it looks great! My stuff stays drier too!

 

Dude, totally agree with the fact it's a matter of opinion. I don't dig the tank cause I am not into the dual caps for the fuel and like the cleaner look on the SG tank. I will give you props on the WG (OR ANYTHING ABOVE THE FXD) for having the nice speedo placement, but I admit I like my speedo where it is at. I also dig the fender much better on the SG. IMO it gives more of an old school, simplistic style to the bike.

To each their own and I own a SG.

 

The Superglide is the Harley I always wanted (even in my sport bike days)

I LIKE the handlebar mounted speedo, clean looking tank, and pure simplicity of the overall desighn. I also like the handling of the Superglide.
