I was wondering what types pipe options are out there if you dont want to convert to foward controls. I might be one of the few but I find that I have more control with the mid postion.

Has anyonecome across anything?

I running a Thunderheader on my Bob and love it.

 

Vance & Hines has 3 or 4 different models that will all work with the stock mid-control location on SB's. They sound and look great. Check out www.vanceandhines.com

 

FInding pipes that work w/ mids is really a non-issue.

V&H BSS will work...had them on my 03' before I converted to fwds.

 

Yup gotta go with the V&H. I have the short shots installed on mine

 

Most aftermarket pipes will fit, unless they ride low enough to interfere with the peg mounts, but then you'd scrape them every time you went around a corner.

 

non-issue? pipes scraping on turns , seems like an issue

come on ligthen up a little, enjoy the ride

 

I scrapped my mid foot peg on a right hand turn. The pipes never touched.
