Jiffy stand too short

Jiffy stand too short
I put 2" longer fork tubes on the front of my Super Glide, and predictably the bike now leans too far over on the kick stand. I have 12" shocks on the rear.
I've seen threads on modifying the kick stand for lowered suspension, but I don't remember seeing anything on making it longer, or adjusting the angle. I know there's plenty of guys here who have put longer rear shocks on their bikes, so I'm assuming those bikes have the same issue.
Is there a 'spec' angle the bike should sit at when its on the jiffy stand on level ground?

Spec angle? Probably, but I've never seen it published.
Some guys have welded or bolted spacers to the flat part that touches the ground. Effective.
Forum member IzzyRider had the little stop-block welded to add extra material, then machined or ground square. He had a thread on the subject somewhere. (The block is at the upper end where the stand rests against the frame.)

Found Izzyryders thread.
That's kinda what I was planning on doing, just wondering if there was a better way, but after seeing how he did it that sounds like a good plan.
