Cut some small strips of emery cloth, put that under your risers. Between the bar and clamp. No more movement no more issues, no drilling, no tapping. 3 min fix I do it on my bike and it works great!

I don't see an upside to movable bars, especially in an emergency stopping situation.

I used the emery cloth trick on my 16 inch apes and they no longer move.

poly bushings have nothing to do with the bars slipping in the clamp. ive used an old inertube from a bicycle cut up and placed in between the bars and clamp with great results or centerpunch the inside of the clamps to give more grip. no need to ruin a clamp by drilling it.
