Got highway mounting bracket off a Lowrider for my 12 FXDB. Love them, but the inside of my legs rub on the AC cover and the tank on the left side. I reach them just fine, I just wish they came "out" a little more.

Do I just buy longer pegs so they stick out more? If so, can anyone recommend a longer pegs like this which helps keep the foot on the peg while cruising?

 

peg extensions, thats what i did on my fxdc... it pushed them out bout 1 1/2-2 inches, just enough to give more foot room on the pegs and to get the leg away from the a/c

 

I had this problem with the stock seat

Since fitting my bare bones the position of my legs is such that I hardley rub them against the air filter at all

 

With peg extensions I just add them to the mounting bracket and add the stock pegs after? Who sells them?

 

i go mine at the stealer i wanna say $30 and they are male/female, u pull your pegs off put the extensions on then put the pegs back on... easy easy
