RE: HOW MANY PUSSIES PARK THERE BIKE IN BAD WEATHER ?
I had my motorbike Driving license at 18 and my car driving license at 27. Here in Luxembourg, there is snow and rain 6 months per year.
I did run my HD for nearly 10 years under any circumstances. 2 accidents later (mainly because of the snow) and a very hard surgery of the knee, I have now 40 and beleive me if there is a bit of snow or even a cloud in the sky.... I take my car, because today I have the choice. But if the weather is ok I go to work every day running my dyna, and from my house to my work it's about 90 miles.
I have done that for years and driving under snow, ice and rain, where is the pleasure ?

Well,
I don't just decide to go for a ride during a thunderstorm just because I wanna ride. If I am out in the rain, I usually park the bike under a bridge and call my mom and dad. They will come out with a flatbed trailer and pick me up...lmao

Hell, you'd be speaking German and falling in for your morning goose stepping drills if it wasn't for the tough fvcker's from the USA bailing your a$$'es out.

I don't ride in the rain if I can avoid it.... no front fender = lots of water in the face. since we don't get enough rain here the roads turn snot slick, so there's that too.
I'll ride in the cold or hot... as long as there's no ice and it's dry. If that makes me a *****... well, I guess I am what I eat.

Gimme a break about being " hard " in the UK there Sid
It rains there every other day so you have no freakin choice if you wanna ride. You and all the Mopeheads are in the same boat. Are they as Hard as you? Try riding in 110 + degree weather in stop and go traffic and then wait at a stop light for 3 mins ... tell me about being hard.

I ride rain or shine and have commuted in temps in the high 20's. Every day can't be 75 and sunny and I'm not about to pass up the opportunity to fire up the bike and let my big shots rumble because conditions are less than ideal. But I do wear a full face helmet on the bad weather days to keep my face from being stung by 65 mph rain bb's.

I have been in the UK many, many times, in fact I am in Basildon (that's near London if you don't know)as we speak, and I cannot believe you would suggest riders in the U.S. (let alone do a stupid poll) might be "pussies". The worst winter weather in the UK is like spring time in Michigan, and yes we ride. And I might add, on theproper side of the f****n road!
