Anyone know what hub I can use to convert my front wheel to dual disc. I have the brake setup already and my new 3.25" rim is coming from Jireh cycles to relace. Just need a part number for the hub.
I'm using a standard Street Bob hub and re-lacing with a new rim. I need to make some rotor spacers to make it work on the WG.
Gotcha. Let me know what you come up with. I didn't realize the street bob hub was setup for duals. Any specific year I should look for? I'm gonna see what HDwheels wants for one also.
HDwheels wants about 285 for the hub plus 55 to powder. I think I'll pass on that deal. I'm gonna get a street Bob hub for cost effectiveness for sure. You guys know where to get a good deal on one?

I got my wheel either here in the classifieds or on fleabay. I think I paid $150, and I'll have a rim and spokes to sell, to offset some of that.
I didn't get the wheel bearing kit, just the wheel bearings. I figured I would have to make custom spacers to fit it to the WG.
Waiting on the bearing removal tool before I can start.
I'm gonna do some searching for the hub.....I'm getting sick of these "HD" companies ridiculous prices. Looking forward to having some decent brakes with some more rubber on the road.
Peter Black, what are you useing for a front brake line? And thanks for posting this info up.
I plan on using the brake lines from an 07 road king till I can afford something better. I see that you have 2012 you might be able to use the one off the new lowrider but ask your parts guys to be sure

That's what I was thinking, or maybe a brake line from a Fat Bob.
