doesn't matter. Crazy as it sounds, the caliper is not really involved other than doing its normal job.

Cant answer that one. i would say none other than price. But, the mounts are shifted around on the various bikes. Check here and compare the bob sliders to the low rider.... http://partstream.arinet.com/Mobile/...FEGHaZ5Q2.html

Multihdrdr is out there watching and will chime in at some point.

Hmm that link isn't working...I am thinking the single slider is off the LRS so it SHOULD have the same mounting points as the Street and LR, the Fat Bob is the one with different mounting tabs as far as I know...

Hmm...Didn't like your answer on 6/10?

My mechanic said even if I got a new black right hand slider, it would be wise to powder coat both the new right side and old left slider so that they match exactly. Is that just him trying to jack up the bill or will they be noticeably different shades of black?
Valid point about questioning if the "Blacks" match. Buying the "Set" would insure that, but Suede has a 2014 FXDB also and commented...

Same Slider in Kit

BTW, that Black "Sliders Only" kit doesn't pop up @ H-D dot com currently. Only shows Chrome and both Black and Chrome in the "Full" kit

Also FWIW (for others)... besides color, I think the slight casting change was in 2012. So 2012-later looks a little different than the earlier ones.

People do it ...use V-rod/Touring Brembos on 06-later Dynas, but it's not a "proper" set-up.

Touring Brembos used on 06-later Dynas will move the pads .150" outwardly on the rotor radius on the same 11.8" (300mm) rotor. That will put the pads out on the chamfered/radiused edge of the rotor or slightly past the edge

I just installed my sliders from a 14 lowrider powdercoated black. Will be finishing it off this winter with speed merchant radial mounted caliper brackets and 2011-16 gsxr 600 brembo calipers.

If anyone looking to do this conversion is interested in a pseudo parts kit, I have this available in the classifieds: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...49mm-dyna.html
