I don't know how I missed this thread until now! I've been wanting dual disc on my '08 FXDC. Anyone completed this upgrade using Peter Black's info? Has anyone developed a price list.? (I know...I can look it all up, but it doesn't hurt to ask.)

1500 or so, retail. Depends on what you are starting with.
Im just beginning the process of collecting the parts I need to convert my 06 FXD to dual front breaks.
What mag wheel is suitable for this project ?
There are several, it just depends on what you are starting with rotor wise, and what you want to replace.
You can use stock FXDL wheels, but those require "spoke mounted" rotors. You can use the HD Slotted Six Spoke wheels, and this use hub mounted rotors, same as the ones on a stock street bob wire wheel.
The HD switched blade wheels, AKA FXDC mags are not dual disk compatible.

Correct on the "switchblade" wheels; I've got them.
What looks great and will be great stopping power is those FXDL mags (in your favorite color of black) with the Arlen Ness big rotors... I run a single on my switchblades.
ok I have a question about brake caliper assemblies. I have picked up a set of 2016 Lowrider sliders. do I have to use the calipers for the 2016 LR or can I use a set off an street glide ?

You should be able to use the Street Glide calipers as long as the rotors are 11.8. What is the part # for the LRS sliders if you don't mind me asking??

There was a 2016 low rider... seems to be invisible now.

What is the benefit to ordering the black set 45500273 vs. ordering just the RH black slider 45500271? Is it the same slider? Going on a 2014 Street Bob
