Popping back firing
#32
I have the Screamin' Eagle slip-ons on my 2012 Heritage Softail. They were too quiet from the box, so I opened them up some by prying the 'tongue' to about 2/3 open. This allows more exhaust to flow directly through the pipes making it louder. At the same time it diverts some of the exhaust through the baffles. Now it sounds great. I also added a Screamin' Eagle air breather to get more air, installed Nightrider FL XIED 10s, and installed NGK Iridium plugs. Now the bike sounds and runs like a Harley should.
