I am thinking about putting 10" mini apes on my FXDC. Anyone done this with stock cables and brake lines ?
I am currently running the stock bars with 4.5" risers. I would go back to the stock 1" risers if I went to mini apes ?

did you use the stock cables (throttle & clutch) and brake line ?

 

Just did this last week on my 2013 fxdc. It should be the same.

Currently I'm running every cable stock as the risers. Break line is a bit tight but found one original HD break line from another dyna that comes stock with mini apes for $50 bucks new on eBay. Part number 42935-12

Bit the bullet and bought HD 56079-93T. Soon as it gets a bit warmer gonna swap em out.

 

Here is a shot of streetbob bars fitted to a 12 FXDC. I had to re reoute the clutch cable to the front of the frame down tubes and remove the front brake hose from the plastic retainer on the frame neck. The cables only just reached but no extra costs.
