Fuelpak for 2007 Street Bob
Looking to open up all 96 CI of my '07 Bob, V&H's Straighshot Slip-ons (V&H p/n 16823) call for the use of the Fuelpak (V&H p/n 61005). I've talked to the service guys at my dealership, one of the mechanics being a good friend of mine. He said that I can get away with installing just the slip ons, leaving the A/C alone, but I might get some backfiring during deceleration. He said I should wait until V&H comes out with another product b/c he and other mechanics simply can't get the Fuelpak to physically fit under the seat. Have any of you guys had any luck with it fitting or are they blowing smoke up my a$$? I'd like to save the $280 on the Fuelpak, but not at the expense of doing any damage from running the bike too lean....

Here is where I put mine, it is a tight fit but it does work well.
You need to change you AC filter too or it would not be worth the effort
and expense.
I am running the V&H straight shots and Arlen Ness big sucker AC

RE: Fuelpak for 2007 Street Bob
hey dawg,
i'm having the same thing done to my '07 bob...i'm picking it up this coming Saturday...i simply told the dealer that i wanted the VandH slip-ons, and a Stage 1 Air Cleaner, and he said that the ECM would need to be "retuned".... I understood that, and was fine with what he explained they would do by dynoing it... never mentioned having to purchase the Fuelpack, though ....if it runs f$%@ed, it's going back! ...simple as that ...=-)
