Pretty much done
Well I'm pretty much done with her. Still have to decide on a headlight and put the dash on, maybe a few more odds and ends but that's about it. Like I said earlier in this post, I'm no canyon carver....its slow and low for me.
I was able to take her for a quick shake down run yesterday....other than some squeaky rear pads.....everything was good to go.
Bike felt great......its been a few years since my last ride, so I had a huge grin on my face afterwards. Really looking forward to some warmer weather.

Thanks, to answer your question, no and no.
The bike came with the speedo/tach combo, I removed the tach and bought the factory Harley single gauge mount.
I wanted to do something different....every other bike I have ever owned was painted black and has been chromed out. They also always had forwards and drag bars. This is my first bike that's not black and chrome and it's also my first bike with apes. Forwards were in the budget but, for me, the mids feel better with the apes. Also, after a few hours of riding on the forwards, I always found myself looking for mid mount pegs.
The bike had hi-way pegs, but took them off....If I need to go on a ride more than say 4 hours long, I can put them and the two up seat on for some added comfort.
