V&H ProPipe Chrome and Fuelpak impressions
I picked my bike up from the local dealer yesterday after having a few damaged parts replaced and had a V&H ProPipe Chrome installed.
I upgraded from a stock header with Python Mamba slip-ons. I installed a K&N Street Metal intake myself about two years ago. I ran the hi-flo intake/slip-ons for about two and a half years with no fuel management device installed. The bike ran great in all temperatures with a little decel popping here and there. I checked the plugs every now and then and they were fine.
My first impression of the ProPipe was, wow! It's long, shiny, and badass!! The first thing I noticed was that the standard baffle is not a straight-through design and has a dam about eight inches or so in from the exhaust tip. I started her up and noticed it was only slightly louder than my previous set up but had a much deeper/lower tone. I let her idle while I geared up and had a couple of the technicians come out and tell me they wanted to hear me ride away because they loved how the pipe sounded. So I started on my 40mile ride home. At this point I was still riding with no fuel management. As I accelerated onto the freeway the exhaust note was enjoyable to say the least. The pipe really opens up as you give it throttle and the sound made me think Harley and a 60's muscle car mixed together. Weird, I know. But, I really couldn't notice a significant difference between my new and old setup. I was giving her gas and throwing the gearbox around while on the freeway and did some steady cruising around 75-80mph. There was still a little decel popping when I got off the freeway. Surface street stop and go felt the same and I didn't notice any additional heat from extra lean conditions. I ordered a FuelPak that's been sitting in my closet for a week waiting for me to get my bike back home to be installed.
I chose the F/P for a few reasons. Price, ease of installation, and this is all I plan on doing to my bike. Installation was straightforward and easy. I had my laptop next to me and watched the YouTube video on the Vance and Hines Channel and went step by step. Did the same thing with programming, simple and straight forward. The bike started right up without any hesitations and is now ready for riding. I will post my riding impressions as soon as I get back!

Looks good, I'm equally happy with my setup (V&H Pro Pipe, Dynojet PC-V w/Fuel Moto mapping, and a Fuel Moto Pro-billet intake...it's smooth and strong through the powerband and no pop!
Anxious to hear how yours rides and feels with the Fuel Pack

Ok, getting ready to go meet a friend for breakfast and turn in about 150 miles through the Saguaro National Park. I think I'll be able to make some decent comments about my newly installed fuelpak when I return. I wanted to let you all see what the stock baffle on this ProPipe looks like if anybody is considering this exhaust.
