I'd mount them as is - chrome - and before powder coating them, I'd put on some colored electrical tape on the areas you're thinking of powder coating to see how it looks on your bike before dropping the $$ bennies.

Dont switchbacks have 5-spoke cast wheels? Ive thought about doing this to mine minus the silver ring on the edge of the rim

Hit up Joe the Powder Pro for some ideas. I know he does 2-tone work that would cool on those.

you know i am pro powder! here are a couple of my fav switch blade wheels we have 2 toned

clean and simple 2 tone, gloss black with a red stripe





and wild and clean





both bikes installed

Im a spokes guy, so i would leave the spokes, but if i had to, i would PC them
