Next is a set of wide width extended fiberglass hard saddle bags which should be in around the 16th WOO HOO!

I like it. How wide is it?

I'd like to go with a similar fender, but I'm running a 180/55/18 tire on a 5x18 rim on a bike that came with a 150/80/16 tire. I have almost zero clearance with the stock fender.

I took a 2009 Street Glide fender and put it on my Street Bob, had to open up my fender struts some. Still need an extension welded to the front to protect the electical components. I'm headed the same direction. Going to put a Wide Glide conversion on the front except the trees I found are 7 degree trees instead of 5 degrees. Also plan on going with Street Glide fairing, air ride and a couple of other things I'd like to make myself for it. Here it is as it sits since I'm currently in the sandbox.

Before fender adjustment and front fender

After fender adjustment...still got a ways to go

Kevin,
My fender is only 7" wide. I found it on eBay for $160 including shipping. You can probably find one that is wider.

Thanks, I need at least 7 1/2" to clear my tire.

No offense, but for some reason I don't like the fenders. But like they say, to each their own

None taken. That is what makes our sport so cool. Everyone can do their own thing to make their bike their own.
