The Michelin Commander II's are the best IMO. I have over eleven thousand miles on my current set and they still have deep tread depth. I think getting twenty thousand miles out of them should be a snap.

I voted Michelin Commander II; good all round tire:

Thread depth after 12,625 km (7,844 miles) is 5 mm (~ 0.1969 inch ~ 25/128 inch)

It looks like I'm halfway now, so still some more miles to go!

I can only compare my night dragons to the stock dunlops but MAN what a difference it made.

If you want a high mileage tire you would probably be better off with the Comander II's

liked my dunlop K591s for performance, but only got about 7500 miles out of the rear. Gonna try the MCIIs come spring since I hear good things.

Had MCIIs on my sport, and really liked the dry and wet traction over stock Dunlops.
