Could we get a part number for this? I have looked around the Drag Specialties website and can't seem to find the kit.

Thanks

I've got 11" shocks and I was still able to do it, but it took a littlepatience. I couldn't fit a ratchet in there, so I used a wrench, 1/4 turn at a time.

I'm sure it will work fine. I just don't like them as much. The plate angles a bit which looks a little better. But it doesn't lay all the way down on the fender, AND it doesn't curve from side to side to follow the fender. So it doesn't blend much better than the stock mount.

I took the stock affair, removed and discarded the upright piece and then squeezed the lower bracket in a vice until it was almost compoletely squeezed together, but not quite. I left maybe a 3 or 5 degree angle. You have to put the bolts int here first obviously before you squeeze it but there after you can bolt the lower portion of the bracket back on the fender (same holes, bolts, etectera) and get just about the same effect as the fancy-schmancy $60 brackets. Hey, I'm a Piney - I can't help myself.

Disconect the rear shocks and jack the bike up... plenty of room. Trotter

Thanks!

Think I'll go with the drag specialties one, I see it for like $70.
