Default 08 Fat Bob (2014 service pack)

Well, here I go again. The 2014 upgrades to the 08 Fat Bob have begun. Not sure why I am constantly trying to fix something that isn't broke. Besides the fact that it is fun! I will include pictures for your enjoyment.

The Fat Bob is going to stay more of a solo bike in the future. Since it is used for more of the short trips only I decided there was no need for saddlebags and other other bulk items to weigh it down.

This round of changes include:

Black Dash
13" Todds Cycle Fat Bob Bars
RSD Nostalgic Risers
Poly Riser Bushings
Magnum Black Pearl lines
Mustang Solo Seat
Black Mirrors and Levers

Here is what the bike has looked like in the past.

Current list of modifications from stock to date:

Tribar tailight
black powder coat strut covers From ISPC Powdercoating
Progressive 11" shocks
D&D Fat Cat 2 into 1
Woods 555 cams, SE pushrods
Thundermax Autotune
Black Powder Coat wheels from ISPC, custom contrast cut!
Cut back black sprocket
Black rotors
Progressive drop in springs
HD Sport Windshield, black supports
Black PC Headlight (ISPC)

Many more black powder coat items from local powder coater (ISPC). I am really glad I found this guy. He has been straight up with me and treated me really fair on price on everything he has done. Although he focuses mostly on industrial/ construction type of work, he really gets a kick out of these little side motorcycle projects I bring to him. I guess there is local professional help out there if you just look for it. I wish I would have found ISPC sooner!! Could have saved myself a big mistake and a lot of money mailing parts around the country.

Below is a picture of the wheels and the 2013 Fab Bob version before the most current round of modifications.

Looking Good. IMHO, if your only using it for short trips, I'd lose that windshield ASAP!

Diggin the dash panel extension. Much better looking than the OEM leather tank strap that comes on the Fat Bob.

Bars are wired and bolted on. I really like how the satin black powder turned out on the handlebars. ISPC does some great powdercoating work! I found the Todd's Cycle 13" Fat Bob bars on ebay. Since I knew I wanted my bars powdercoated, I had no problem buying a blemished chrome set. I really like the RSD risers too! Next is connecting all the cables after they are delivered.
