Default Fuses

I have an 05 dyna wide. I was blowing headlight fuses. Changed my headlight and fuse problem solved, for about a month. Now blowing fuses again and headlight dosent work. Should I have the headlight rewired to the fuse box, new headlight assembly etc. Don't want to spend 100$ having it diagnosed. Any ideas.

At this point it's a bit extreme to rewire the light, start with the easy stuff. You do have to check every wire for the headlight and the switch in case some insulation got rubbed through and is shorting out. Also look at the wires and connections inside the headlight plug. Since it sounds like the problem went from intermittent to steady it might be easier to find the problem.
If you have a test meter you can check each wire for continuity.
