Default 103 build, powerloss in low rpm. Need feed back.

A few months sago I had motor work done on my 07 street bob. 103, with harley 211 cams, head work, adjustable push rods, race tuner, and running a vance and hines comp 2-1. The dealership that built the motor didn't do the dyno work due to their dyno going down. Had another dealership dyno the bike. Dyno got great numbers for a 103. But there is a dead spot or power loss in the lower rpm range between 2000 & 2500. You don't feel it when you get on the throttle. The tech that dynoed my bike told there is a power loss due to the pipe being so short and that I need torque cones. I think he is full of **** and rushed the dyno. The bike runs great above 2500 and rips between 4000 & 4500. I have never heard anybody having this problem with this pipe. I know it's a higher rpm exhaust. I am looking into switching out to a pro pipe. What are guys thoughts?

Here is the the dyno sheet.

That can happen with that pipe........not enough back pressure...the dyno guy is right...if I were you I'd sell that pipe and go with a SuperTrapp , they're the most tunable pipe out there IMO

If you don't feel it when riding then I'd forget about it.

111hp/117tq? Amazing power!
I wonder why it would drop right at 3000rpm, never seen a dyno sheet like that. It's got to be something more than just exhaust, sorry I am not expert.

I agree if you don't feel it don't worry about it. Those are some great numbers for the 103.

i agree, that dyno sheet looks strange as hell. i'm no expert, but i feel like they rushed it and you didn't get what you paid for. i'm curious to see what others say here....but to me, i feel like you should find a different person to handle the tuning. and he is clearly "feeling it" guys, because he said he doesn't feel it in the twist of the throttle until later in the rpm range.

Yep, I would take it somewhere else. Someone who does mostly tuning, or, only..

That doesn't look like a pipe dip. That is a canyon.
