103 build, powerloss in low rpm. Need feed back.

i had a similar build 103, 10.5:1, 211 cams, SE factory heads, Bassani RR 2, PCV.
my dyno sheet shows 85tq@2500rpm, 100tq@3000rpm, torque curve climbs to 109 tq @3750rpm, stays above 100tq till red line at 5500. HP shows 40hp@ 2500 rpm, has a nice perfect steady line climbing to 107hp@5500 rpm.
my dyno sheet was done using STD correction, if your bike rides good id keep riding it. id post this question in the engine/fuel/intake section, someone that knows about dynos will give you some correct answers.

But if you get more back pressure you'll take some of the high RPM performance away. You have to decide where you want the throttle response.

I also agree. The change of the exhaust IMO is a scientific world :-D
I had already 7 different exhaust systems on my Bike (107 Build, cams ect). In general a 2-1 system is always better, but there still tones of other factors that have to work together in your Set up.

I know this is a stale thread but to add to the body of knowledge...
I have a V&H Pro Pipe. The stock baffle is basically EPA certified quiet. It's actually too polite so everyone pulls the baffle on the second day of ownership. Now it sounds loud and mean, just like it should. However, it's now just drag pipes into a freakin megaphone!
They offer a 'competition' baffle that is shorter. It at least turns it back into a 2>1 and retains a decent voice. You can make your own too by experimenting with different lengths and with different wraps and packing. On the older round ones you could even fit a reverse cone in the megaphone.
In short, don't discount the V&H. It is quite versitle and just needs to be tuned, just like the Supertrapp.
