RE: HELP with Wide Glide Seats
I got a Gunslinger from Bar Enterprises. I had the memory foam put on it also. Compared to the stock seat, it beats it easily. Sent the backrest pad to be matched to the seat....still waiting for it![:@]

RE: HELP with Wide Glide Seats
I like the mustang seat also. Great for 2 up riding, reasonable price and nicly made. This seat is almost 5 years old and one of the screws on the bottom bracket came loose and was lost. I contacted mustang and they sent me 4 screws free of charge. They even paid for shipping. Good luck

darkkevin,
Which Andrews cams are you running, and how much TQ & HP did you gain without any topend work?
bobcowan,
That mustang seat looks comfy! Gonna have to look into one of these for trips with the wife.

i'm running the 26hg cams (gear driven) and i haven't had it dyno'd yet. planned on it this winter but then was suddenly unemployed. i just told the guys at fuelmotousa what i was running and they made a map for me. i can tell it runs a bit rich though, the plugs are dark 9not black but dark) and the fuel mileage is about 36mpg on a good day. i'll be sure to post numbers as soon as ai get it dyno'd though.

RE: HELP with Wide Glide Seats
I thought the stock seat on my 06 Wide Glide was fine but the wife complained about having a sore butt all the time. I got the Sundowner so she would be happy and I gotta admit it's really more comfortable then the stock seat. She's happynow and if she's happy...then I'm happy.

RE: HELP with Wide Glide Seats
I have harley's "touring seat" on my 2000 wide glide. I am 6'1" and 300 lbs.
It is great for the long haul and my wife likes the rear seat, as it is wider too.
I also got the wide back rest for the rear.
Kept the stock stuff, but this set up works great for me.
