Just curious if there were any recent issues getting an '07. I am supposed to be getting a March delivery for a WideGlide, but nobody seems to know what is going on. I don't want to be **** about it, so I only did what they told me to do - I went there in February and called last week.

I've heard just about everything.

...delays from the strike...delivery is 3/14...no delivery date yet...we'll call you after the bike gets here...did you get a delivery date...who orderd it for you...

The whole thing just seems strange!
Is this typical?

I did not have any issues with getting my 07 Bob.

 

Walked in with cash, rode out on 07 bob

 

5 month wait but hey i,m a euro so its to be expected lol.......but it was worth it , lovin every moment.

Call another dealer. Even if it's a 100-200 miles away. HD dealers are not like car dealers they don't usually bikes from other dealers or sell them to other dealers. Because the dealer who has the bike what to make the money on the add on's and labor. Mine was on the show room floor and a dealer here has one sitting on the floor in Denim black like mine.

 

No probs with my 07 Bob. Your dealer can find you a bike. This is riding weather take your money and run.

What part of NY are you in? I was just in the dealer here. They had plenty of bikes on the floor. Can't remember if there were any Wide Glides.

I bought mine in Alabama. No ordering. Walked in at 6 pm and rode out at 7:30. That was in October.

I had a bad experience with ordering a Sporty in Virginia about 9 years ago. I didn't think I would ever buy a new HD after that, but I guess the Old Sporty was rattling my bones too much, and the new 96 ci helped sway my decision too.

Walked in to my dealer just before the strike and walked out 2 hours later with my Super Glide.
I was there this weekend and noticed quite a few bikes on the main floor and plenty on the backside. Maybe your dealer has some issues?

 

I've got an 07 but I also got mine in august, so i don't think that helps too much.
