walked in, put the bike on my truck(no motorcycle endorsement) and drove away with my 07 bob.

 

don't know about now, but last Sept I got my BOB, and in the whole bay Area, there
were only 2-3 available in Denim Black.... Otherwise it was a 4-6 week wait.

At first the dealer didn't even want to lower the price, took some work to get them down from
their price of $17,200 out the door (some dealers were $17,600 out the door with a wait).....

 

The strike was only the Pennsylvania plant which would affect the Softails and Tourings. Dealers in my area (Ohio/Indiana) said that any delay would be minimal, i.e. 3-4 weeks. I read somewhere that the strike only took 10,000 bikes out of circulation.

I think Dynas are built in Arkansas... you're getting smoked?

 

WENT TO MY LOCAL HD DEALERSHIP LAST SATURDAY AND WITHIN ABOUT 2 HOURS RODE OUT ON MY 07 DYNA SUPER GLIDE CUSTOM PLUS A FREE HD PINIC BAG AND COFFEE CUP. THEY HAD AT LEAST TWO WIDEGLIDES AND ONE LOW RIDER ON THE FLOOR.

 

My 07 Superglide Custom has a 4/15 delivery date. The dealer said that it sould be in by 5/1. They have approximately 6 Wide Glides on the floor. No customs.

 

At High Plains HD, I ordered a NightTrain in late Sept and the delivery date was Nov 16. A couple of days later, the dealer called and asked if an earlier deliver would be OK. They got one that the customer had canceled on from another dealer and I was riding it in a week.
