seats solo or 2 up sundowner
anyone here have both seats , or have used both ,I have been told the two/up seats and the touring seats move you forward some. I have a sundowner solo and would like to move up a little, instead of risers and changing foot controls, would like to just change seats, if a sundowner 2 up or a touring seat would do this I would change to a 2up instead of a solo with a rack .

I have the sundowner 2up...very comfy seat for me and the wife. It liiks huge on the bike but my wife loves it so much I can't get rid of it so I had it recovered to take the bulkiness look out of it.
It did sit me forward a bit which I didn't personally like until I got the battery bag. It keeps my leg from hitting it most of the time

Seats Sundowner or
I would just like to add that my wife and I truly love the Sundowner seat for all around comfort on long rides.....200 to 500 mile days.
However, if reach and seating position is you issue then I highly recommend the Roll back riser solution. Using stock bars and the roll back riser without changing any cables I am very very happy with my current seating position and ride comfort. I am just 5 foot 10 and the original configuration was just a bit of a long reach with the Sundowner seat.....Now the fit is perfect.
