Hello my fellow Harley riders! Like the title says, I'm curious how the two companies compare? Any pros/cons I need to know about? I am looking to lower my FXDF and I am fairly new to Harley and all the different companies that provide parts for our bikes. I think I am pretty mechanically inclined and will be doing the install my self and it doesn't seem to complicated to install either suspension on the bike. So if you fine folks could help me out with some info I would really appreciate it! Thanks.
AFAIK burley uses progressive springs. I just threw a set of 11" progressive shocks on mine and got rid of the stock shocks/lower blocks. Very pleased with the shocks and the price for them.
Make sure you have a "balanced" suspension and not just go for looks. Cool looks does not trump handling and comfort (especially on your back and kidneys). Jus sayin.

I have a suggestion for you.... Turn off your computer, sell your Harley (or Honda) and snuggle back into your lazy boy.
