the best thing to do is don't be in a hurry, try to look at different pipes and listen to them and you decide on the sound that you like. there are a lot of options on here, I listen to some and went with the bassani nice finish but did not like the sound of it. bought a set of v&h bigshots looked great and sounded great went to a shop did a back to back comparison between the bigshots and the bassani with a 96 cid with woods 555 cams and there was 2ftlbs more tq and 2 less hp with the bassani so I sold it. and ran the bigshots till I did all the engine work and install a thunder header. after hearing a few bike go by my house and was able to see what exhaust they were running. because they sounded so good, and could not be happier but what the hell do I know.

 

thunderheader is the way to go..imho!!
