Talking new stage 4 heads & pistons from hillside

well its done, finally finished the fatty, what I started to do last year. just got the stage IV heads and raised 4cc pistons from Scott & Craig set at 10.8:1. tore it apart on Thursday nite, and started putting it back together. came home from work Friday and finished adjusting valves and changed oil and she only turn 1/2 flop and she was running. did 3 heat cycles and than too her for a short spin. the exhaust note is a hell of a lot deeper. and in fifth gear just twisted it a little you can feel the difference right away, she really barks. have 107 bored cylinders & -2.3 cc pistons and hillside stage II heads if anyone is interested send me a PM . can't wait till this rain stops so I can get some more time on her.

You have a big strong build, any crank work planned? Not trying to recommend it or not, just want to hear your thoughts because I plan on doing a lot of what you have done. Anyway, love your build - nice work!

as far as I understand of what I have been told the stock crank will handle it as long as im not doing burn outs, and revving the engine and dumping the clutch. which I don't do any way!! fuel moto and others have a lot of builds posted with out crank work doing 125/125 and than some. so I should be just fine.

you should have had your heads done on your build? instead of having to take it all apart again. you would have really noticed the true potential that was available with the twist of the throttle.

Just noticed you were from Rouse's Point, spent 2 nights right by there on my bike trip this summer. Buddy's uncle lives there, so we stayed with him for 2 nights while riding the Adirondacks. He lives on the lake on Point Au Fer rd
