The wheels are BST wheels. I will be tearing down the whole suspension and drivetrain after mock up is complete. Once that is completed all of the componets will be weighed new/old for difference in weight for a total of weight savings for the entire build. Plus a before and after dyno!!

I have a 2001 FXDXT can I get that front end setup where I can use my stock wheels, rotors, and dual disk calipers as well as the T-sport faring and how much $$$$?? not happening anytime soon but I love the inverted forks! I don't think the 180 will fit with the stock belt drive.

Yes the ohlins kit is capable of any wheel or brake configuration. And no you would have to change out the belt to chain to fit a 180.

This has got to be one of my favorite threads!
Nice parts, nice work!
That bike will ride AWESOME!
Is that rear 180 on the BST 5.5" Vrod wheel?
Goes against the purpose of making it as light as possible, but I think this scoot would look CRAZY with a complete set of FXRT fairings DEVIANT style...in CARBON FIBER!!!

Well done,

Joe

Thank you sir. The purpose of the 5.5 rear is for tire selection. If this bike was built to save as much weight as possible would would have ditched the tins and the frame and made everything out of aluminum! Lol btw your carbon fiber body work would be bitchen but don't think it will happen on this bike.
