Torx suck, one of the first things I did was replace them all with stainless allens.

Just remember, guys, if a fastener is somewhere that if it failed you could die then don't replace it with ordinary grade stainless. Brake disk bolts and such.

Ordinary stainless isn't so strong and some bolts on the bikes are hardened for a good reason.

I replaced my lower front end caps with allen head stainless and never-seeze. Low torque on them anyway.
Long fine steel threads in aluminum I can only see frozen bolts in the future with wet rainy seasons.
My mechanic friend also recommends anti-seeze with stainless.

Did anyone ever put together a database of all the correct sizes?

I changed to the button head allen screws on my derby cover a good time back, because it is the one I get into more often, all the rest I have left alone.

If you use the correct bit you shouldn't have problems. I never have.
