Default Tire age.....Is it Possible I still have original tires.(2001)

After talking with someone about tires and how to tell it's age I took a look-.

front tire last four numbers- 0701
is this possible...I'm cruising 80mph with a tire that is original to the bike 12+ years old....

back tire 2006..... I feel pretty dumb that I never checked in 3 + years of owning the bike....

I feel blessed to be alive....

Yes but count your blessings and order a set of tires... just the cracking that is visible shows the age, look it make could last another 10 years but are you ready to bet on that with your life...

Okay, I gotta say it, I've had my '04 3 years and have put 3 rears and 2 fronts on it.

Let's throw this out, running tubes prolong tire safety?

7th week of 2001..You are blessed & that tire is probably rock hard while also showing surface cracking.
Change the rear also.
Price shop over the phone because the Harley dealer is sometimes way expensive when compared to an indy shop for same tire/service.
You will notice a nicer ride.
I guess the bike has less than 15,000 miles.
