Default Sticky Key

Today after filling up at the gas station, I went to start my '07 Bob. The key didn't seem to want to turn. After jiggling it for a while, it finally did. Am I supposed to be doing something to lubricate the key mechanism? I'd hate to get stuck just because I can't turn the key!

Teflon lube works well and stay for a long time. Try to avoid water while washing bike.

Powdered Graphite Lubricant fixed mine in zero flat

Make sure your key doesn't have a bunch pocket lint packed in there.

Mine doesn't want to turn sometimes too. I keep forgetting to lube the key. I will have to try 1 of the suggestions mentioned.

I use Lock Ease every now and then to keep it working smoothly. It is a liquid with graphite in it. The liquid makes it easy to disperse in the barrel and when it dries it leaves a Graphite coating behind.
