Default Newbie here. Some project pics UPDATED

Got it lovered "a bit" by moving rear shocks

There was enough room inside electric-box so i moved the coil inside.

Installed J.O.S Billet triple trees with 5 degrees rake.

Rear wheel: Ultima with 5,5" rim.Had to cut brake assembly from swing and put caliper "hanging"

Didnt like the look of a stock gas-tank,want to stretch it and use an aircraft cap

Here we go.Also gonna put speedo in the middle.

Had to shorten and make rear fender 2" wider, finished painting yesterday.

I bought this 01 FXD Super Glide 6 weeks ago(stock condition)
Cant wait to get it finished and take it out for a ride, because of all snow we got here,I havent even tried it yet.

Right, since last time i posted here i´ve done a lot of welding, filling and sanding. Now gas tank is stretched and i´ve started painting.

Lets see some pictures:

Tank stretched and a few coats of primer added.

I started with gold and black. These colors just stays as stripes.

Next color i added was red. This is how far i´m now with this paint job.

I wanted to use stock speedo and signal lights in a chrome dash and heres my solution:

I´ll be back
