Default Cycle Shack slip ons?

Ive had my new 13 FXDC for almost two weeks now and I want to put some slip on mufflers on it . I had V&H straight shots on my 1200C but I dont have 300.00 laying around for a new set . I saw cycle shack slip ons on Ebay for like 150.00 new and was wondering if anybody here is currently using them and if so how do they hold up? do they have baffles in them? Im not looking to do the whole intake and tuner just yet , probably not until next season. also I dont want to void my warranty. any info would help.

I have a set of Cycle Shack 2.3/4 on my WideGlide and like them a lot .
They do have Baffles and can be removed .
I have found they are great with the baffles in not to loud but just right .

Cycle shacks are good mufflers. Look at the classifieds here, your local craigslist and ebay. I found a set of Vance & Hines slip ons on the classifieds here for $100 shipped, they retail for $300.

I put about 15,000 miles on mine and they held up fine. Excellent chrome and great sound. The baffles they use are the same as the old Screamin Eagle II's, which makes sense since CS used to make those mufflers for HD. Probably the best bang for the buck you can get for exhaust.

cycles shacks also give better performance over V&H. 3 reasons why id buy CS over V&H: 1) better performance 2) Cheaper and 3) sound WAY better.

Boy I'm glad you came up with this thread. I'm looking at the exact same mufflers on Amazon right now for my 2012 FXDC , and I'm waiting to make the jump. I don't want to void warranty, or hinder engine performance. All I want is some more sound than I got. Nothing obnoxious or super expensive.

exactly my reasoning, the bike is plenty fast for me, just too damn quiet.

I have a set of CS slip-ons in the side slash. They are louder than I was expecting for slip-on's but I am ok with that. They sound great. I have a few co-workers that have Harleys. They both really like the sound of these. Best $145 I spent.
