Default PC-V vs Fuelpak

I'm getting ready to pull the triger on a tuner. Which would you guys think is better?

My understanding is. (Which maybe wrong)
Power Commander V requires a computer to laod changes
Fuelpak can be don't with settings (no computer needed.

Is there any other advantages to either one?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Get you PC V from FuelMoto. You can do a lot more with the PC V. I had a Fuelpack and it was ok but my PC is far better.

I" running a fuelpak and have had very good luck with it. the nice thing is its plug and play.very easy to install, and set up. get on the vance and hines web sight and look things over, then get on the power commander web sight and do the same. you will see they are two different systems. agree that if you have the money go to the power vision

Kepp in mind not many people like their fuel paks because the don't have many features to tune your bike with. like zomby said PV is the way to go.
+ another vote for fuelmoto.

hate to say this, but that is what I like about the fuelpak, you do not have to keep fooling around with it, set it and forget it, unless you make another change, seems like you have to change the settings all the time on everything except the auto tuners, change this map, change that map, used to do that on race cars at the strip don"t want to do that everyday on my bike, would rather ride

I have a fuelpak and haven't had any issues with it. I like the fact that you don't have to unplug it from the bike and plug it into a computer just to update/change a map on it. You just take the front cover on the fuelpak off, change the settings, put it back together and your done.

My advice is, if you are just going to do the stage 1(exhaust and air intake) and thats it then go with the fuelpak, but if you plan on internal engine mods later it would probably be better to get a power commander or something similar.

Thanks for all the input!
My plans are only for exhaust, and Cobra Powerflo intake. No internal mods in the engine.

The Power Vision unit is nice but does the LCD touch screen have to be mounted to the bike? I want something that is hidden away.

The power vision gets plugged in, loads a map, then is removed. Only time it stays on the bike is when using the autotune feature. By the way, if ur considering the fuel pack, you should definitely look at fuel moto micro tuner. It's a great unit and easy to use. For what u get, you can't beat the price.
