Why do people feel the need to modify a brand new bike... if it wasn't "right" when you bought it, why'd you buy it? People lay out $20K for a bike and then spend, spend, spend trying to make it like their "old" one...
I am using progressive 444's and once they break in and you get them adjusted properly they are great shocks.. way way better than stock and I ride my bike hard , especially in the mountain passes which is at least 60 percent of the riding we do here. You will want to improve the front with better springs , intiminators, etc eventually.

Found a local Howard at an after market harley shop called Slabsides. Still debating customs or Progressive 444. Price is about $ 175 more for customs.
