So I got the twin slash mufflers with black shields for the Street Bob. I bought them with the intention to black out the stock heat shields.

After I got the mufflers on I kind of liked how the chrome shields looked with the black on the mufflers, but at the same time still want to black the stock shields.

Curious what everyone else thinks. Leave as is, or black the heat shields.

Edit: Adding to the conundrum, I have a black air cleaner coming from DK customs on Tuesday.

I like the contrast, spend elsewhere.

I'm diggin' it like it is...
You have a few things that are still bright, and it adds nicely, IMHO. Bars are chrome, right (hard to see in pic)? If so, keep the pipes chrome for sure

Yea, the risers and drag bars are chrome.

The chrome heat shields stand out as it is, they are going to really pop once you have the black AC.....I say leave it.

Doesn't look bad as it is, but I think it would better all black.

I was going to say; keep them the same color as your intake.

BTW. It looks like your rear slip-on is hanging too low and not parallel with the front one. Love the bike though.
