Thanks for the info and animation! I'm looking for a solo replacement for my stock 14 SB seat. I'm 5'8/5'9 with a 30 inch inseam and want the seat to move me back and down. I used to have a Bare Bones on my Wide Glide but it was not comfortable but great seating position.
I will be adding a Motherwell Rack for storage on trips to my SB and I don't think it will work with the Corbin's new mounting system.

I love my C&C solo and I've had it for 5 years. Still looks new!! I've done several 400 miles day trips and 1000 mile weekends on it and I can't complaint. With the stock seat I was hurting after 30 miles. I'm 6 foot and I felt as if the C&C moved me down and back a little. My only complaint would what the OP said about hot take offs. Kind of slide onto the lip. Not that big of deal for me because reaching for my apes keeps me pretty well planted, but it has happened.

Well, I'll tell you what, I like your presentation, time and money for this issue. My input might not work very well because Im just standing 5'5" tall. I suspect youre taller than me. I was told height plays a big role. I had an eye on those solo seats before and still have. Im using a super reduced solo seat from HD for my height and I can ride about 3 or 4 hours non stop. I still have desire of trying out these seats if theres any improvement. But money is tight at the moment.
Good luck!
Good luck!
