I put 16" apes on my 2012 WG, It was a pretty easy job just takes a little while if its your first time. Worst part its putting the wires through the bars. I went with the RSD King Apes which have 2 90' bends on each side what a pain that was. if you have any issues try wrapping the ends of the wires with electrical tape then tie a string on to the tape. Using a vacuum plug all the other holes and it should suck the string to you. then use some kind of lube on the tape and start trying to fish the clump of wires up your way.
Defiantly switch to the Poly bushings I still have the stock rubber ones and with 16" apes it feels very loose.

So do the 2013 Street Bobs have 12" apes or 10" ones like the past ones? When did they change them if they did?
According to this site http://www.sideroadcycles.com/Import...ckBarsOne.html
2009 and up have 12" bars... hmm never knew that.
