Default help fxdp voltage regulator

I have a 2001 fxdp im trying to move regulator or buy a small regular one any ideals ? mine is the 45 amp touring type regulator

If you change the regulator to a lower amperage, I assume you will have to downsize the FXDP 45 amp stator to a 32 amp stator as well?

Perhaps it would be better to buy a 45 amp regulator.

Currently there's one available at Ebay

Take a look at Accel aftermarket solid state regulators - might find something a little more compact than the OEM unit.

stators the same, rotor cup has 12 magnets and is different

ive ordered one , hope it fits in the frame rails
