Security system question
Went to get on my 2011 Fat Bob yesterday. I moved it out of the garage without the fob, so if course the turn signals do their back and firth flashing. I got the fob, turned the ignition and...nothing. Dash lit up, but shen I hit the starter, the signals started flashing again. I read some other post they said it sounded like the battery. I have a new battery I have not put it in or tried that just yet, but I also understand there is a way to manually reset the security system. I bought the bike used, so I do not have the original owners manual or security number. Is there a way to get that? And what is the procedure for resetting that? Thanks in advance for everyone's help which I know I will get a ton of here as this is an outstanding forum.

So that I would know what to do if the battery ever went dead.
So the wife & I are in the next town, and the bike won't start. Try entering code, but it won't take it...
So a guy offers a different battery, still nothing.
Ok, now it's trailer time, I have my daughter pick me up go back & get the Jeep & trailer. (And a NEW battery)
Still nothing, so I load it up and take it home, unload it....try again, still nothing...so figure I will take it to Harley dealer tomorrow.
Get up the next morning, give it one last try and it starts!!!!
So I rode to Harley dealer and had them remove the security...didn't want to get stranded states away if it acted up again...
I have the steering lock & insurance, I'm good...
Anyone else have trouble with theirs!??!?

I havent had any problems with mine so far, but I am worried about the battery being drained by the alarm when I got out to sea. I am going to get a battery tender, but that only works if you have someplace to plug it into. I am hoping when I check-in to my new command I will find someone that I can park my bike at their house, plug it in, and ride with them to work.
If not, I have been considering disconnecting my alarm, and disconnecting my battery while I am gone. Not sure if thats a good option or not?
Opinions welcome!
